Essix Retainers
The Essix retainer is a transparent, removable retainer covering the entire arch of your teeth. Made without metal wires, it’s virtually invisible and offers a discreet way to maintain tooth alignment. This retainer is known for its durability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of use.
Fixed Retainers
Bonded lingual retainers are a permanent solution, attached directly to the inner surface of your lower canines. This type of retainer is excellent for preventing your lower teeth from shifting. Fixed retainers can also be placed on the upper arch behind the front teeth to prevent space from opening or relapse of crowding or rotations. It requires careful cleaning, especially around the inside of your lower teeth and the wire. If any issues arise with your fixed retainer, contact us immediately for an emergency appointment rather than trying to adjust it yourself.
Hawley Retainers
The Hawley retainer is a popular removable option. Custom-made from dental impressions, it consists of sturdy acrylic and metal wires, ensuring a comfortable fit in the roof of your mouth. It effectively holds your teeth in their new position. These retainers also allow us to make limited tooth movements or modifications. Personalization is available for the acrylic part, offering a variety of colors and patterns to suit your style.
